About HATA

We, the Telugu community residing in the Halton region, united by a common heritage and shared values; established this non-profit organization to serve as a beacon of cultural preservation, community development, social cohesion, and crisis & disaster relief support.

With a deep commitment to nurturing and celebrating our rich cultural heritage, we endeavor to promote the vibrant traditions, language, arts, and customs of the Telugu people. Through cultural events, festivals, and educational initiatives, we aim to instill a sense of pride and connection to our roots among our members and the broader community.

In recognition of our collective responsibility towards the well-being and prosperity of our community, we pledge to engage in initiatives that foster social inclusion, empowerment, and equitable opportunities for all. By promoting dialogue, understanding, and collaboration, we seek to build bridges across diverse backgrounds and create a more cohesive and resilient society.

Furthermore, we recognize the importance of being prepared to respond swiftly and effectively in times of crisis and disaster. As such, we are dedicated to organizing relief efforts, providing support, and mobilizing resources to assist those in need, within our community and beyond.

In establishing this organization, we uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability, and we invite all members of the Telugu community in the Halton region to join us in our mission to cultivate a thriving, inclusive, and compassionate society for generations to come.
